How Many Horse Races Are Actually Worth Handicapping
The most important decision a horse player makes every day is whether or not to play a race. The astute handicapper must look the race over and decide if he can possibly evaluate the runners and find enough of a reason to bet on one or more of the horses. That decision alone often makes the difference between a winning day and a losing day. The question, of course, is how do you know when a race is playable?
