“Horseplayers” Season 1, Episode 2 a Review

Tue ,04/02/2014

The second episode of the Esquire Network’s New Series, “Horseplayer,” aired on 1/28/2014. Billed as a reality show, it follows horseplayers as they wager on horse races at Belmont, Churchill Downs, and Pimlico. The Triple Crown races are the focus of episode 2. Horse Racing: The Secret Of Racing Explained

Tue ,04/02/2014

Racing is complex but the secret of racing explained is to break it down in a way that its’ real basis is understood. Racing is an equine or horse running contest to see which horse will come in the order-of finish of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. And as such racing alone or by itself has nothing to do with money. No one’s wagering. You can predict a thing by yourself but it takes 2 or more persons to bet. One person saying a specific thing will happen and the other person saying it won’t. When you wager or put anything on the bet, be it money, a car or anything you’re investing in the bet. If you have less than a 50% chance of winning then you’re a gambler. If you have a 51% or more chance of winning then you’re an investor. So racing’s made of 2 main parts: PROFITCAPPING (predicting money profit to be made) and HANDICAPPING (predicting order-of-finish of races).
