There are two major divisions to racing: Profitcapping and Handicapping. The proper way on {how to bet on horses] is an aspect of Profitcapping because you’re trying to make a – profit. This deals with money and not handicapping which deals with predicting which horses will come across the wire in which order of finish positions. Several things must be known and used to wager correctly. (1) how much to spend (invest) exactly on every ticket every time weeks to months ahead of time of which there’s a way to know this. (2) the strength and probability of your ticket to win. (3) the format of the ticket. (4) how to pass or play races. (5) properly managing your money. (6) which bets (investment instrument types) will give the highest profit potential.

California Chrome wins the 2014 Kentucky Derby

Untapable wins the 2014 Kentucky Oaks

Horse Racing: How And Why Handicapping Is Only Half Of Racing

How and why handicapping is only half of racing is to understand that racing has been analyzed and found to made of two main parts: Handicapping and Profitcapping. When racing is taken apart several main things can be found: (1) it’s made of two major divisions. (2) that field size is a major part of the process. (3) that payouts can be averaged. (4) there’s a way to play where you can know ROI (Return On Investment) over years. Anything to do with selecting, picking and choosing horses using factors and angles is Handi-Capping. Anything that deals with predicting profit, money to be made and ROI is Profit-Capping. Each one is 50% of the game. Capping means a system or process to determine the likelihood of a thing in racing.
