Good Handicapping Method Or System Using Two Horse Racing Factors

Thu ,31/10/2013

There are many ways to handicap a horse race. This method uses just two factors, speed and class, probably the two most important factors. Of course, everything is relative when it comes to evaluating horses in a race. For instance, if a horse hasn’t raced for a year, the figures you’re using are old and pretty useless, so some common sense is required. If there are such horses in a race you must make the decision of whether or not you have a strong enough reason to bet on the race or whether it would be better to pass it by and find a race where there weren’t such handicapping dilemmas. When you find a race to handicap, start by evaluating speed. We’ll use three calculations…

How To Handicap Horse Races Using The Hierarchy Method

Thu ,31/10/2013

There are many ways to handicap a horse race to find the best horse and some good bets. Though handicapping is just a way to look at the runners and try to decide how they compare to each other, the final goal is actually to compare bets. Because no matter how good a horse may be there is always the chance that it may lose the race. Some people think that they are trying to pick a winner and that it’s a one step process, but it’s not if you want to make money betting on horse races.

Wed ,30/10/2013

There are ways to quickly handicap horse races and easy horse racing systems you can use that will help you to find good horseracing bets. Naturally, the more time and effort you put into evaluating the runners in a race the better your chances of making money betting on horse races, but sometimes you can actually over-analyze a race and as they say, “Over analysis leads to paralysis.” In other words if you look at a race too long you’ll eventually become so confused that you won’t be able to make a decision or have an opinion about the race.

Horse Racing Systems and Methods Based On Times

Wed ,30/10/2013

Since the advent of speed ratings and adjustments made with variants many people have stopped handicapping using time as a factor. By that I mean the actual time it took to run the race as well as the fractional times. But just because we have adjusted times to use now, don’t think that scanning those actual times isn’t a useful handicapping tool and can’t be used as part of a system of method of evaluating the horses. If you know what the par time is for a particular distance at your local track, scanning those times.

Like I said, almost anyone knows that, but if you didn’t, now you do. How can that information help you?

Free Horse Racing Tips and Suggestions For Picking Winners and Live Horses

Mon ,28/10/2013

Finding a good bet or a live horse, as they are sometimes called, isn’t easy, but it can be done. The best way to approach horse racing betting is as a hobby and an expensive one, too, if you don’t get it right. So the first tip is, “Don’t bet the farm.” The second tip is to always find value before you bet. Odds of less than 2-1 rarely payoff in the long run. So as you bet, while your first concern may be to find the most likely winner, your second goal should be to find the horse at the highest odds that really does have a chance to win.

Two Horse Racing Handicapping Factor Methods

Thu ,24/10/2013

When you learn how to handicap horse races it usually involves what are known as handicapping factors. Here is a brief look at the major factors and some methods for using them. That’s because all race tracks aren’t the same and some play much faster than others. Not only that, but the times vary from day to day. So always use the speed figures. Probably the most reliable figure is…
