Facts About The Cox Plate Race

This is Australia’s second biggest horse race and the prize for 2011 was 3 million. This race attracts many elite racers who seek not only the prize but also the satisfaction of winning this tough race. This race is the only one from the Southern hemisphere that is included in the premier World Series Racing Championship and it drives some international competitors to join the race.
