The secret to making money betting on horses is really no secret at all. You just have to find horses that are bet below their actual chances of winning. Figure out how likely a horse is to win the race and then wait until you find one that has been over looked by the crowd and is going off at high enough odds to make it a profitable proposition. While I just made that sound incredibly easy and a lot of you are already snorting and shaking your heads, in fact a few may be clucking their tongues, let me assure you I know that it sounds a lot easier than it is in reality.

Easy Horse Racing Long Shot Bet In Maiden Claiming Races

There’s no such thing as easy money when it comes to horse racing handicapping for the long haul, but sometimes a long shot bet comes along that’s pretty easy to spot. There are several that I’ve played over the years that have helped me to cash some nice tickets. I don’t recommend that you sell the farm and think you’re going to get rich off these wagers, that just isn’t going to happen and they’re as risky as the words long shot imply.

When I say a horse racing system works pretty well, I don’t mean that it will make you rich with no effort. To be blunt, horse racing is a tough way to make a living.
