While it’s thrilling to pick the winner or even the trifecta in a horse race, at the end of the day, what really matters to good horse players is value. That means the bets or tickets you buy pay back more than all the money you spend on them. If you make $200 worth of bets on any given day and get back $300, you’ve made a profit and found good value.

As yet another Kentucky Derby looms on the horse racing horizon the media hype and frenzy is at an all time high. You can buy a lot of data and information about the horses and their connections.
